Dr. V. Jane Millar shared her goals as District Governor of Rotary District 6290.

One of Jane's goals for 2011-2012 is "Every Rotarian every year," asking all Rotarians within our District to contribute $100 per year to the Rotary Foundation. She also is urging members to attend the District Conference in May of 2012 at the Dearborn Inn. Other goals include covering the cost of 2,000 cataract surgeries for children in Bangladesh and a net increse of one member at each Club within the District. To encourage Clubs to accomplish these and other goals Jane has established a District Governor Citation for which Clubs must submit an application by April 30, 2012.

Following our general membership meeting District Governor Millar met with our Board to talk more about upcoming District functions and to learn what our Club has been doing.
