Club Assists in Helmet Giveaway to Kids

On August 8 Club members Kris Thomas and Bruce Wildie were on hand to distribute the 50 bike helmets donated by Bike Benzie sponsor Priority Health to area kids.
The helmets were given away at Academy Park in conjunction with a bike safety program given by Chris Remy, owner of BikeLab in Traverse City. Following the program a complimentary lunch was provided for the children by the Benzie County Kids Eat Summer Food Program, another project supported by Benzie Sunrise Rotary.
