We Learn about Taiwan

Sponsored by our club jointly with the Frankfort Club, Richard is attending Frankfort-Elberta High School.  In his presentation he told us about his family and his country, including its capital, Taipei, and its second-largest city, Kaohsiung. He also told about typical Taiwanese dishes, including one with the appealing name of Stinky Tofu.

 

In addition to interests such as skateboarding, Richard has enjoyed helping in the kitchen of his host family. He hopes to get some exposure to food preparation in a commercial venue before returning to Taiwan. (Click on picture for a larger view.)
