The Center seeks to establish the Grand Traverse region as the global hub for applied freshwater innovation through partnerships with a variety of entities:

The Center already has established the first e-boat charging network in the U.S. Work is under way in several areas of marine technology with the ultimate goal of converting the research into jobs and businesses.
