Northwest Education Services or North Ed serves 16 school districts in northwest Michigan. The provide many specialized services that would be cost prohibitive for a single school district. Northwest Ed provides programs for special education, career and technical, professional development for staff, and many other supportive services. Many local students are transported to on site locations to receive the education for their specific needs. North Ed pays 100 of the transportation costs.
