Artwork displayed at the center are from many talented artists within this area and most are for sale to the public.  There also is a gift store with additional works from Michigan artists that can be purchased.

Besides displaying amazing art, the center focuses on art education and historic preservation.  There are multiple programs for children and adults of all levels of experience.  These classes include ceramics, digital arts, printing, painting and more.  These classes are offered year round and had over 800 students in 2025.  The Art Center also has a 2 week residency programs for emerging artists and has an Art Fair on the grounds on July 25th.

The Oliver Art Center has amazing pieces of art and is a great way to spend a couple hours going through the galleries and possibly purchasing some beautiful local art.  It is another ‘gem’ in Benzie County.
