Kevin D'Alessandro is the TCAPS Early College/Commitment Scholarship Coordinator. He explained NMC's role in the early college program.
Instead of jumping into the deep end of a big four-year school, students in the early college go to a foundational class their first semester. Throughout the process they have a huge support system available, with tutoring centers, coaches and advisors.
The NMC portion of the school load increases each year, and in their 13th year early college students are full-time at NMC. The early college program also provides financial relief to both families and high schools.
