What generation are we in, and why does it matter? Kim Arbour, HR Director at the Traverse City accounting firm Dennis, Gartland & Neigarth, spoke to us about generations--what they are and how we might bridge the gaps between them.
After identifying the various generations (Traditionalist, Baby Boomer, Gen X and Gen Y) and their respective charactereistics, Kim Arbour talked about the importance of bridging the gaps between the generations. From the spirited discussion that followed it was evident that the topic is highly relevant in both our personal and our Rotary relationships.
