
Brenna Nugent, Executive Director of the Frankfort-Elberta Chamber of Commerce, shared with us her role as well as the mission and vision of the Chamber.
Brenna Nugent, Executive Director of the Frankfort-Elberta Chamber of Commerce, shared her role as Executive Director and the Mission and Vision of the Chamber.
As Executive Director, Brenna is essentially the chief cook and bottle washer for the Chamber. She is responsible for membership management including recruiting and retaining members, staffing the Visitor’s Center, maintaining the CRM system, creating the monthly Loop newsletter, conducting marketing activities including advertising, promotion and improving online presence, handling the budgeting, financial management and strategic planning. As if that was not enough, she is also charged with partnership development and fundraising. All this to achieve the Chamber’s Mission and Vision.
The Mission is to empower businesses, enhance our community, promote our area as an all-season destination, and connect people through resources, events, and collaborative partnerships, ensuring the vitality of Frankfort-Elberta and the surrounding area.
The Vision is to be the driving force behind a thriving and prosperous Frankfort-Elberta area where businesses flourish, residents enjoy a high quality of life, and visitors experience the best of our community all year-round.
The Chamber has recognized that the foundation for an all-season community includes affordable housing to attract and retain new residents, attracting talent requires year-round employment and growth opportunities, access to reliable and affordable childcare, and off-season stability to bridge the seasonal gap for businesses with four-season tourism.
Brenna also works closely with the Frankfort Downtown Development Authority.
