Today Tom Bishop gave his experienced member bio.
Tom became a Benzie Sunrise Rotarian in 2006, when the Club met at the Sail Inn. He taught math for thirty years at Allegan High School. He also coached football and is a member of the Michigan High School Football Coaches Hall Of Fame.
Following his retirement as a math teacher Tom spent many years as a driver's education instructor in Frankfort. He also officiated at high school sports and has delivered (and still delvers) Meals on Wheels.
Tom married wife Cathy, a registered nurse, in 1966. They enjoy living on Crystal Lake, an ideal location for a dedicated fisherman like Tom.
With regard to Sunrise Rotary, Tom cited Kris Thomas and Val Gerhart as two Rotarians who have made significant contributions to the Club.
