The Thompsonville Area Restoration Project (TARP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is an outgrowth of several grass roots groups seeking to address issues affecting the Thompsonville Area. These issues included community blight, lack of affordable housing, lack of jobs, and lack of community knowledge and appreciation of the area's rich history.
