The Club is proud to announce that Amber Peabody and Ashley Wixon, juniors from Benzie County Central Schools, have won scholarships to Rotary’s annual Life Leadership Conference in Tustin, Michigan.

Amber and Ashley are exemplary students who have shown leadership in and out of the classroom. They will be great representatives of Benzie County for this year’s conference.

Rotary International District 6290’s Life Leadership Conference has been shaping the lives of future leaders each summer since 1949. Coming from both large cities and crossroad communities in Michigan and Ontario, participants meet exchange students from other countries and discover a unique blend of intellectual curiosity and cultural diversity. The Kettunen Center in Tustin is a top-notch conference and retreat facility that offers collegiate-style dormitory accommodations and modern communication and learning facilities.
