Jane Perrino and Tad Peacock urged support of the Conservation District's request for a millage renewal on the August 7 ballot.
Jane is the District's Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator, hired under a grant that runs out at the end of the calendar year. Jane said the Conservation District has reached over 30,000 people in its pilot program in educational outreach, supported by a grant from the Sunrise Rotary Foundation. Audience members endorsed the contributions the District has made to local lake associations.
