Today we recognized Benzie Central High School senior Reeve Katt for her Service Above Self.
Reeve participates in the fall play and spring musical at Benzie Central, as well as being on the Benzie-Frankfort Ski Team. She also is secretary for the local chapter of the National Honors Society and president of the high school Interact Club.
Reeve has a long history of serving her community, from volunteering at the Benzonia Public Library as a middle schooler and underclassman to helping run the Beulah Fall Fest and "March is Reading Month" festivities every year. She volunteers with the Husky football team in the press box during their season and earned the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) last year for 100 hours of service given in ten months. She will be attending CMU with a full-ride scholarship.
