Dawn Bousamra, COA's Senior Center Coordinator & Supervisor, described the many services offered by the COA to seniors in our area.
With a congregate site at the Gathering Place in the Honor Mall, the COA is a non-profit charitable organization that promotes opportunities for socialization and independent living for seniors. In her PowerPoint presentation Dawn outlined what the COA offers in terms of healthy meals, exercise, education and welfare referral, among other things. She also talked about volunteer opportunities at COA, including the delivery of meals five days a week to homebound seniors. Finally, she introduced the Council's new Executive Director, Doug Durand.
