Renee DeWindt, the catering manager at both the Frankfort and Benzie County Central School Systems, shared with us how she's taken the catering service in both school systems to a level that's being recognized by our leaders in Lansing.

With the success of her "Farm to School" lunch program, Renee was recently appointed to the Governor's Food Policy Council, and with this most deserving honor, will be able to more effectively share with other school systems in Michigan how to make their catering services not only healthy and enjoyable to our youth, but profitable as well. Renee's energy and passion for her work with the students in our community was quite evident and club members always look forward to her periodic visits.
