Dr. Carol McKee explained that the goal of Community Cats of Benzie County is to eliminate homeless cats in Benzie County through humane intervention.
The organization assists compassionate caregivers who are feeding homeless cats by providing TNR (trap-neuter-return) and other support services. These include veterinarian services and the adoption of cats and kittens into loving homes. The organization is looking for volunteers and for the donation of money, as well as items such as pet food and shelters. Community Cats of Benzie County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and in most cases monetary donations are 100% tax-deductible.
