Today Clark Brown told us how he became Assistant Pastor at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Benzonia.

A Michigan native and son of a state trooper, Clark more or less followed in his father's footsteps--becoming a police officer in three different departments and retiring from the Michigan State Police. But he always had an interest in becoming a pastor, and after receiving  a bachelor's degree from Michigan State, Clark received a Masters in Divinity at Concordia Theological Seminary. So in addition to a stint in the military and his police career, Clark also served as a pastor at a variety of parishes in several states.

Eventually Clark and his wife Martha returned to Michigan.  Since his retirement as a police office Clark has worked for Lowe's, as well as becoming a pastor in Benzonia.
