Alan Marble
Notes from the Peace River: Life in Camp in Alaska

Frankfort resident Alan Marble spent  25 years as a conservation officer for the Law Enforcement Division of the Michigan DNR before being promoted to be the chief of Law Enforcement for the DNR.  Since his retirement he has spent the last 6 summers living in a tent and working as camp cook at Fishing Bear Lodge in the wilderness of southwestern Alaska.  Alan is a born story-teller who has a great story to share before he heads back to Alaska at the end of July.
